Krishika , 1 year old admitted on Saturday with bronchiolitis. Today she completed 1 year and she is fine , now going home. We celebrated her first birthday at Shaurya Hospital

Humi, a 17 yr girl got direct kick from opponent over her wrist while practicing for khel mahakumbh final rounds of karate on sunday late afternoon (2019). She got her wrist bone completly broken into pieces.
She was brought to shaurya hospital with pain and agony. I got a call from hospital for the emergency. After her examination and x ray, she was diagnosed to have completely displaced distal radius fracture which can be treated either ways operatively with some scar and nonoperatively with some more efforts required in perfect reduction and follow ups.
After discussing with relatives and her coachsir, we decided and treated her nonoperatively with reduction plaster done under live x ray control (IITV) for absolute perfection.
With her regular followups and dicsiplined physiotherapy she went back to practice in less than three months time.
She has amazingly played the NATIONAL Championship of KARATE with full courage, confidence and power packed punches and zero pain. She recently sent me this video breaking the tile which amazed me and forced me to share her story.

With the grace of god, Viralbhai has been a very lucky patient and after each surgery, he has got full range of motion and is able to walk as fast as normal person and is able to sit cross legged on ground as well.

No...sometimes it occurs with someone roadside..and the hardluck is like he gets accident for three consecutive years and all the time in same leg and same knee...
Yes, talking about one of our beloved patients Mr. Viralbhai Shah, who got accident with two wheeler (activa) and got comminuted fracture of patella (ઢાંકણી ના ચુરેચુરા - 2017), long spiral fracture with depression of proximal tibia (ઢીચણના સાંધાના નીચેના હાડકા નું કોમ્પલેક્ષ ફ્રેકચર - 2017) and lateral condyle femur fracture of the same knee (ઢીચણના સાંધાના ઉપરના હાડકા નું જટિલ ફ્રેકચર - 2019). These three fractures involved all the three bones of knee joint one by one each year. There is high chance of getting restricted movement and limp even after single fracture around knee for a single time and this man got his knee fractured with multiple pieces three consecutive times.
He was operated with patella tension band wiring (2017 - વાયર), proximal tibia platting (2018 - પ્લેટ) and lateral femoral condyle cannulated cancellous screws (8th october 2019 - સ્ક્રુ).

With the grace of god, Viralbhai has been a very lucky patient and after each surgery, he has got full range of motion and is able to walk as fast as normal person and is able to sit cross legged on ground as well.
So even after the HAT TRICK of accident, he is well unbeaten and playing happily on the pitch of life...back on road with his activa. And now he has completed one year of last surgery (fortunately without any new injury) on 8th october 2020.
